Query Language
The text search engine allows
queries to be formed from arbitrary Boolean expressions containing the
keywords AND, OR, and NOT, and grouped with parentheses. For example:
- Kaiser Aluminum
- finds documents containing
'Kaiser' or 'Aluminum'
-
- Kaiser or Trentwood
- same as above
-
- Kaiser and Aluminum
- finds documents containing both
'Kaiser' and 'Aluminum'
-
- Kaiser not Aluminum
- finds documents containing
'Kaiser' but not 'Aluminum'

- (Kaiser not Aluminum)
and Trentwood
- finds documents containing
'Trentwood', plus 'Kaiser' but not 'Aluminum'
