POSITION TITLE:

Research Engineer

DESCRIPTION:

The incumbent will be responsible for carrying out R&D chartered projects, supporting plant projects as necessary and requested by the technical director and running the experimental equipment in the Center for Excellence Lab.

SUMMARY OF REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy or Material Science required. A Master's degree is preferred

2-5 years experience using laboratory techniques and equipment

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), troubleshooting skills and organizational skills

Excellent computer skills: MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access.

Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma tools an advantage.
