POSITION TITLE:
Production and/or Maintenance Supervisor
DESCRIPTION:
The production and/or maintenance
supervisor will be responsible to Provide leadership, motivation, mentoring and
training for workers to achieve work goals.
They will actively promote, participate and create a safety culture;
interpret and convey company policies, specifications, requirements and
regulations to employees. Additionally,
they will administer informal coaching and progressive discipline, recommend
measures to improve working conditions, production methods, equipment
performance, and quality of product. The
incumbents will implement measures to improve production methods, equipment
performance and product quality, confer with other shift supervisors to
coordinate activities and work flow with other departments and complete and
maintain all required paperwork and documents.
