POSITION TITLE:

Maintenance & Engineering Manager

DESCRIPTION:

Individual will be responsible for leading the Maintenance & Engineering team for the Operations organization. This position reports directly to the Plant Manager. Will provide leadership to the plant’s Maintenance and Engineering staff. This individual should have a hands-on approach and expect to ensure the reliability of the equipment within the facility. This individual should be comfortable with hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, setting up Preventive Maintenance programs and troubleshooting. Responsibilities include the supervision and development of the staff (both Union hourly and salaried), scheduling downtimes, budgets for all maintenance including plant and grounds, and scheduled maintenance.

SUMMARY OF REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Field required

10-15 years of plant maintenance and engineering experience

Excellent problem solving and communication skills

Lean manufacturing and/or six sigma experience a plus
