The primary role of the Electrical Systems Supervisor is to facilitate the development of skills and improve effectiveness of the Electrical and Electronics Maintainers (EEMs) at Trentwood.  In this role they will establish training systems, develop and enforce structured problem solving methods and ensure appropriate documentation is available and up to date at point of use.  The incumbent will be responsible for day to day supervision of EEM’s to include safety performance, quantity and quality of work, schedule compliance, electrical pm review/consolidation/establishment/update and scheduling of training.  They will establish systems to measure and evaluate the performance of each EEM and provide feedback to each on a regular basis as to their performance to goal.  The individual will be responsible to interface between Electrical Systems Engineers and Production to facilitate improvements in the reliability of electrical systems.

SUMMARY OF REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Field or 2 year technical degree and commensurate experience
• Required to work rotating shifts
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem solving and communication skills required
• Experience managing in a unionized environment a plus
• Ability to develop and train unionized hourly electricians
