POSITION TITLE:

Electrical Project Engineer

DESCRIPTION:

This position will report to the Maintenance Engineering Manager. The incumbent will be responsible for project management including developing project scope, feasibility, cost estimates, and schedule. The incumbent will manage project resources, budgets, and schedules and coordinate and manage installations, outages, and equipment start-ups. The incumbent will prepare and organize project documentation (manuals, PM’s, spare parts, correspondence, drawings, drawing lists, material listings, etc.), coordinate operator and maintenance training and track, report and manage final project performance, schedule, and cost compliance.

SUMMARY OF REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

BSEE require, MSEE would be advantageous

5-10 years experience in heavy industry

Demonstrated leadership in project engineering

Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills

Project scheduling, specification writing, knowledge of electrical design, digital and analog drives, PLC and distributed control systems, National Electrical Cose, AC/DC motors ro 4,000 HP, power/control theory and application and instrumentation

Lean manufacturing and/or six sigma experience a plus
